Kochi:
The Kerala High Court has ordered a CBI probe into the death of a woman and two children haling from Adoor at Udupi under mysterious circumstances. The CBI probe was ordered while allowing a writ petition filed by Annama Thomas, of Adoor, mother of the deceased, Prinu.
According to her, Prinu and her children were staying along with Prinu's husband at Udupi. Annamma received a message from the wife of the elder brother of Prinu's husband saying that Prinu and her children had accidentally fallen into the well near their house and were drowned. She suspected that the death was a case of murder. Though a case was registered by the Karnataka Police, she feared that a fair investigation will not be conducted. Staff Reporter
