THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Southern Railway will run 22 weekly special trains between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Chennai Central from September 16 to November 27 to clear the heavy rush of passengers. According to railways, the 631 weekly special will leave Chennai Central at 4 p.m. on Fridays to reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 7.30 a.m. the next day. The days of operation of the special train from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram Central will be September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28 and November 4, 11, 18 and 25. The 632 weekly special will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 3.15 p.m. on Sundays to reach Chennai Central at 8.15 a.m. the next day. The days of operation of the special train from Thiruvananthapuram Central will be September 18, 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and November 6, 13, 20 and 27.
