MANGALORE: The First Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on Tuesday sentenced two persons to three years imprisonment for breaking into a temple on the outskirts of the city and decamping with gold and silver ornaments worth Rs. 6.47 lakhs on July 28. They have also been fined Rs. 10,000 each. The accused, Abdul Basheer and Udaya alias Satish, both of Kasargod district, reportedly broke open the door of Sri Laksminarasimha Temple at Ullal and took away the ornaments.
