Medicos protest

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Students under the aegis of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Students Association (AMSA) staged protest demonstrations in different Government medical colleges on Tuesday demanding a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities in the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Responding to AMSA's call, students of Osmania Medical College staged a dharna in front of their college. Protestors burnt an effigy said to represent the MCI and the State Government.

In Gandhi Medical College, medicos took out a rally with placards and also burnt an effigy.
