Protest against reduction in number of notaries

KOCHI: The All Kerala Notaries Association has protested against the reduction in the number of notaries in the State.

In a statement, the Association said that the reduction in the number of notaries had created difficulties for the people, especially those working in the field of marketing and distribution. In fact, the attestation of every application by notaries had been made compulsory.

The association said that in order to discuss the problems faced by the notaries, a meeting of notaries would be held on September 16 at the Kerala High Court Advocates' Association Hall. The association requested all notaries to participate in the meeting.
