This Day That Age
People waiting in queue at Delhi's bus stops may soon have the satisfaction of listening to radio music, the Transport Minister, Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri, indicated in the Rajya Sabha on September 13. Answering a question, Mr. Shastri rejected the plea that benches should be provided at the bus stops for the passengers, who had to wait for interminably long periods. "I do not think there are benches at bus stops in any place but we are trying to provide radio sets at bus stops," he said.
