BANGALORE: The following will represent the region after the regional level chess tournament conducted by Kendriya Vidyalaya ASC Centre (boys and girls), was held here. The National KV chess championship will be held at Ambala (Chandigarh) from October 3 to 7. The qualifiers: Boys: Under-14: Keshav Karanth (5 pts), Arjun V. Anchan (5), Kiran Karanth (5), P. Shashank (4.5). Vivek Bhendre and Rakshith Rai (reserves — 4.5 each). Under-17: Akshay Sudheer (5), G. Amar Yashwanth (4.5), Gireesh Bhat (4.5), Arvind (4.5), Sourav Rai and Akshay Pai (reserves — 4.5 and 4). Under-19: Pratik Gupta (4), Gourav Varma (40, P. Bhaskar Chand (4), Banu Pratap (4).
