Ratna Cafe to open new branch in T. Nagar

T.S. Shankar

CHENNAI: This is for Chennai's die-hard fans of Triplicane Ratna Café's delicious and sambar-soaked idlis. The same edible delights will now be available in T. Nagar

The new branch will be opened on Friday evening at 45, Venkatanarayana Road. The new 4,000 sq. ft. outlet can seat 120 persons, 60 each in the air-conditioned and the non-air-conditioned sections.

More outlets planned

"All the culinary delicacies offered at Ratna Cafe in Triplicane will be available at T. Nagar and we are looking at opening more such outlets by the year-end. Nungambakkam and Velachery would have the sambar-soaked idlis soon," Rajender Gupta, Managing Partner of Ratna Cafe said.

And remember, the secret of the sambar-soaked Idlis are from the two Chief Cooks of Ratna Cafe — Kalaiperumal and Kandaswamy — whose same products will also be available for diners in T.Nagar.
