HYDERABAD: Passengers headed for the twin cities on Saturday will find it difficult to reach the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station in Afzalgunj in view of the traffic restrictions being enforced for the Ganesh idol immersion procession. The Police Additional Commissioner, A.K. Khan, said on Thursday, "For the inter-district buses coming here from Rajendranagar and Kukatpalluy it will be somewhat problematic," Mr. Khan observed. Buses from Kukatpally will be diverted at Godrej Y junction at Kukatpally, Narsapur crossroads and Bowenpally to Jubilee Bus Stand. From there, they will go to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station via YMCA, Sangeet, Rail Nilayam, Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Uppal, Ramanthapur and Amberpet. Those from Rajendranagar will come via Aramghar crossroads, Chandrayanagutta crossroads, I.S. Sadan, Nalgonda crossroads and Chaderghat. Buses from Vijayawada side will be diverted at Moosarambagh and reach Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station via Amberpet, Road no. 6, Kachiguda traffic police station and Rangmahal.
