Panel to examine functioning of CPWD

NEW DELHI: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban Development, headed by Mohd. Salim, MP has decided to examine the various aspects of the functioning of Central Public Works Department (CPWD).

Since the functioning of CPWD affects people at large, the Committee has also decided to invite opinion/views of the public on the subject.

Calls for memoranda

Interested persons can submit two copies of the memoranda with their opinion/views on the subject to K. Chakraborty, Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 518, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi - 110001 on or before 14th October, 2005.

The memoranda could also be faxed at 011-23010756.
