Ganesh idol immersion peaceful

Police make elaborate arrangements

WARANGALKARIMNAGAR: The Ganesh immersion procession went off peacefully without any untoward incident in the town. The police made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the affair.

Over 550 idols ranging from three feet to 12 feet size were immersed in five tanks.

WARANGALKARIMNAGAR: The Ganesh immersion procession was peaceful Karimnagar town.

The processions from various parts of the town passed through thoroughfares. Ganesh idols were taken out in processions. The Karimnagar DSP, Y. Sai Narsa Reddy, the town CI, J. Amarender Reddy, the rural CI, P. Venugopal Rao, supervised security arrangements.
