Conference on development

A three-day conference on `Rural India achieving millennium development goals and grassroots development' will begin here on November 10. It is jointly organised by the State Government, Bhoovigyan Vikas Foundation and Sahanav, an NGO. The highlights include two sessions exclusively devoted to rural development in Andhra Pradesh and the vast changes in the North-East. There will also be sessions on information/communication technologies for rural development, resettlement and rehabilitation problems and policies. Special Correspondent

Bus pass counters closed

The bus pass counters in the premises of APSRTC and the eSeva centres in Hyderabad will be closed on Saturday in view of the Ganesh idols immersion procession. The centres will function from 9 a.m. on Sunday. Special Correspondent
