ON TO THE ROAD: The second Garuda service to Chennai being flagged off at Imliban in Hyderabad on Friday.
HYDERABAD:
The Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station, popularly known as Imliban, now has a swank new lounge called `Volvo Corner' to make passengers opting to travel by the super-luxury Garuda (Volvo) buses more comfortable. The lounge, constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.25 lakhs, was on Friday evening thrown open to passengers by M.V. Krishna Rao, Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. He also flagged off a second Garuda bus to Chennai, a service that goes via Kurnool and Kadapa. Ranga Reddy Regional Manager S. Nagaraju said that the service would take 12 hours to reach Chennai.
