Sandalwood trees felled

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: A six-member gang felled three sandalwood trees on the HAL test house compound and made away with the logs after attacking the security guards in the early hours of Friday.

The police said four security guards were on duty at the HAL test house compound situated between Mallespalya and J.M. Palya in Bayappanahalli police station limits.

Around 2 a.m. six men came there and tied the hands of the guards with ropes. They felled the trees and took away the logs in a goods vehicle, the police said.
