UNIQUE PROTEST: Members of the Janata Dal (U) taking out a cycle jatha in Gulbarga on Saturday.
GULBARGA: Members of the district unit of the Janata Dal (United), led by the vice-president of the party's State unit Basavaraj Ingin, district working president Raju Kulageri and president of Krishik Samaj Siddaramappa Dangapur, on Saturday took out a cycle jatha in Gulbarga to create awareness among the people to save petrol and diesel. The party workers raised slogans against the Union Government and urged people to avoid petrol and diesel driven vehicles to conserve the fuels. They said this is the only way to counter repeated hikes in fuel prices.
