DHARMAPURI: The Tamil Nadu Health System Project (TNHSP) will be implemented in a phased manner in 270 Government Hospitals in the state with Rs.590 crores assistance from the World Bank, said the Project Director of TNHSP, Supriya Sahu here on Friday. Speaking at a seminar on Bio-medical waste management she said in the first phase the project will be implemented in the districts of Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Pudukottai, Theni and Kanyakumari. The Collector, Sudeep Jain said the project was the first of its kind in the country where all government hospitals in the state would be upgraded.
