Mr. Anchan's unique talent has created a fan following of his own. Now, some of his fans have come together to form the "B. Prabhakar Anchan Sanmana Samiti." The samiti, headed by Damodhar Nisarga, will felicitate Mr. Anchan at a function at Town Hall here on Tuesday. Mr. Damodhar said dignitaries in the city have recognised Mr. Anchan's talent and given him commendation letters. Besides, Mr. Anchan has received awards from various organisations. He has displayed his talent at more than 150 programmes organised all over the country. Mr. Anchan has other accomplishments, such as playing a harmonica riding a bicycle and while swimming. Proof of Mr. Anchan's lungpower came when he played the harmonica for more than two hours at a stretch. Mr. Damodhar said the samiti will confer the "Nasika Natarathna" on Mr. Anchan and a cash prize in recognition of his abilities.
