Chennai-based organisation teaches the language in neighbouring States

The first batch of trainers has already started working in Tamil Nadu with the cooperation of Kuppam-based Dravidian University.

The launch of ten-day classes for 14 trainers from Tamil Nadu, with the assistance of Hyderabad Central University, marks another step in taking Telugu closer to the hearts of those who cherish the language, but cannot read and write it. The classes commenced in the presence of A.B.K. Prasad, chairman, AP Official Language Commission, Reddy Shyamala, professor, Telugu University, Ramanarasimham, head, Department of Telugu, HCU, who is also a Teluguvani trustee, A.
