10 sovereigns of jewellery stolen

TAMBARAM: Gold jewellery, weighing about 10 sovereigns, were stolen from a house on Nehru Street, Pozhichalur, on Saturday.

Ranganathan and his wife had locked the house and left for work.

Door broken

When they returned in the evening, they found that the door and an almirah had been broken open and the jewellery stolen.

The Shankar Nagar police are investigating.
