Taanush shines

Pune: Taanush shone when the horses were exercised here on Monday (Sept. 19).

Outer sand:

400m: Asiatique (Ruzaan) 25. Handy.

600m: Grantown (Kharadi), Zaccharus (rb) 39.5. Both were level.

800m: One Good Thing (P.S. Chouhan) 57, 600/41.5. Easy.

1,200m: Taanush (Kharadi), Struie (rb) 1-20, 1000/1-6, 600/38. Former started three lengths behind and easily finished three lengths ahead. Rejuvenite (Merchant), Happy Queen (Bernard) 1-22, 600/40. Former strode out well and finished six lengths ahead.

Gate practice — inner sand:

1,000m: Skywards (rb) 1-7, 600/39. Urged. Sonic Symphony (N. Jodha) 1-6, 600/40.5. Moved well. Cincinnati (rb), The Nonesuch (rb) 1-8, 800/51.5, 600/39. Former superior. Whispered Secret (R. Pandey), Diva Dancer (Rupesh) and Oratorio (Sandeep) 1-5.5, 600/40. Whispered Secret was the pick.

600m: Aag (Pradeep) 37. Pressed. Naval Academy (Pradeep) 41.

800m: Sixty Seconds (M. Narredu), Airwave (Abhishek) 50, 600/35. They moved freely. The Zamindar (Kamlesh) 53, 600/38.5. Moved freely. Cincinnati (C. Alford) 54, 600/39. Easy.

1,000m: Purple Blaze (Abhishek), Silver Tulip (Neeraj) 1-8, 600/38. They ended level. Armament (C. Alford), Flavia (Hamir) 1-7, 800/51, 600/36.5. Former was well in hand. Great Strides (B. Prakash), Angel Star (R. Pandey) 1-4.5, 600/38. Former was well in hand while the latter was pushed to end level.

1,200m: West Coast Eagle (Kharadi) 1-23.5, 600/41. Moved well. Queen Adler (Mansoor) 1-22.5, 600/39.5. Pushed. Destined Path (Hamir), Sun Seeker (C. Alford) 1-21.5, 600/37. Both were handy. Flavius Victor (Kamlesh) 1-25, 800/54, 600/41. Moved freely. Pamela Bordes (Neeraj), Capture The Moment (Mansoor) 1-24, 600/40.5. Former better.

1,400m: Gold Star (M.Narredu) 1-37, 1200/1-21.5, 600/38. Pleased. Secret Dance (B. Prakash), Enticer (rb) 1-40, 600/41.5. Former finished six lengths ahead.

1,600m: Ronin (P.S. Chouhan), Divine Protocol (Bhagwat) 1-52, 600/39. Former retains form. Nebraska Tornado (B. Prakash), Simply Supreme (Rupesh) 1-52, 600/40. Former finished six lengths ahead.

Race Track:

1,400m: Havana (P.S.Chouhan), Ovation (Belose), Raudo (Mansoor) 1-35, 1200/1-19, 600/38. Havana and Ovation impressed.

1,200m: Etoile (Baandal), Fying Glory (V. Walkar), Cry Of Truth (Kharadi), Dilnawaz (Neeraj), Master Craft (Belose), Time To Reflect (Merchant), Fair N Square (app), Rajyogi (Rupesh) 1-16.5, 600/38. 1, 1/2, 3. Etoile overtook the leader Flying Glory in the straight and won the race.
