This Day That Age
Mr. Ghulam Mohammed has relinquished office as Governor-General of Pakistan and Major-General Iskander Mirza has been appointed to succeed him. A press note issued in Karachi on September 19 said Mr. Ghulam Mohammed, who is on leave on grounds of health, had resigned and the resignation would take effect from October 6 next.
