Training teachers to make toys

Creativity and imagination make every child a craftsperson.

It is common truth that the role of a teacher in kindling a child's creativity is indispensable for the child learns most things at school, where the teacher is the guide.

To update their knowledge and learn advanced skills to handle children effectively, a special training programme on skill development was held for craft teacher trainees at Nehruji Memorial Higher Secondary School in Dindigul recently.

The teacher trainees were trained to make toys and dolls.

A Rangoli competition held for them during the training session, which was drawn in bright colours, attracted many children in the school.
