SuperStar Libra can accommodate 1,500 in its 740 cabins

CHENNAI:
The Chennai port had a celebrity visitor on Tuesday. The SuperStar Libra, a luxury cruise ship reputed to be among the best in Asia, made a stopover here to let a privileged few get a sneak peek into the luxuries of resort-styled cruising offered on board.
The ship has over half a dozen restaurants and bars, entertainment lounges and even sports, health and recreation centres, including an outdoor swimming pool spread over 10 decks.
The SuperStar Libra has a deck dedicated for sports, with a basketball court and a jogging track for the vacationers. With a karaoke lounge offering Bollywood entertainment and a disco to spice up the nights, party animals are likely to find themselves at home on board the cruise ship.
The floating resort that cruises at a speed of 19 knots is equipped with 740 cabins and can accommodate 1,500 people.
