DAVANGERE: Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, who produced the film "Amruthadhare," has said that the hygiene in many cinemas in Bangalore is not up to the mark. Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, he said that toilets are maintained badly. He claimed that he, along with some of his team members, had visited some cinemas and got the toilets cleaned. Mr. Chandrashekar said that he was fed up of producing a film though "Amruthadhare" was his first film produced by him. There are many "complicated factors" involved in producing a film and marketing and distributing it. He said that cinema owners assured him of giving theatres for screening the film in writing, but they did not stick to their word. Getting a cinema is highly difficult in Bangalore, he said adding that simultaneous release of films may have an adverse impact even on good films. Mr. Chandrashekar said Amitabh Bachchan, who made a special appearance for a brief period in the film, did not accept any remuneration. "Story is everything to me," he said and added he will judiciously select the stories. The director-turned-producer said that right now he had no projects of producing films.
