dated September 23, 1955: Bus services in Andhra

The Andhra Chief Minister, Mr. B. Gopala Reddi, told the State Assembly on September 22 during question time that the Government did not have any proposal to take over any of the bus routes and run buses themselves. Running of buses by Government meant a considerable amount of capital expenditure, which the Government, in the present circumstances, could not undertake, he said.
