Pension for the Emergency-affected
The ghosts of Emergency refuse to go away. The local body elections have revived them, thanks to the politicians.
After the initial round of attacks and counter attacks, the blame game refuses to settle down. An organisation called Emergency Victimised `Patriotics' Forum has come out in the open to protect the rights of the victims.
At a press conference, its general secretary R. Mohandas has urged the Government to give compensation to the victims.
