Sethna becomes chief of UPASI

UDHAGAMANDALAM: E. B.Sethna has assumed office as the President, United Planters Association of Southern India (UPASI), for 2005-2006. Having been part of the plantation industry for over four decades, he is now the Director, Coonoor Tea Estates Company Limited and Poddar Udyog Limited. J. K. Thomas has assumed office as the Vice President of UPASI for 2005-2006. He is the Managing Director of Malankara Plantations Limited.
