Government dental college upgraded postgraduate institute

PONDICHERRY: Pondicherry Health Minister E. Valsaraj, said here in a release on Wednesday that the Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital sponsored by the Pondicherry Administration has been upgraded and renamed as "Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry" and this would be the first PG institute in dentistry in the country as a whole. The college cum- hospital was started in 1990. It had grown stupendously offering five-year course in dentistry (under graduate course).
