THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Medha Maitra (North Bengal) was the star performer of the day at the Southern India National ranking table tennis tournament at the Agriculture College indoor stadium, Vellayani, as the seventh seed brought off a sensational 11-7, 11-0, 11-9, 11-5 win over second seeded K.K. Narmadha (Tamil Nadu) in the quarterfinals of the sub-junior girls singles on Thursday.
