NIZAMABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief , K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that court cases were common against those striving towards a specific goal. "I am not aware of the contents of the court directive to police to register cases against TRS leader, Mr. Narendra, and me. Once I get back to Hyderabad I will consult our party legal forum and submit our argument," he said while addressing a press conference, here on Thursday evening. "Our party has never indulged in violence or violated law in these four years. We have worked all these years abiding by the Constitution and law", he stated. Replying to a question, Mr. Rao reiterated that the moment the TRS came to know that the United Progressive Alliance Government was not going to deliver Telangana it would not continue in Dr. Manmohan Singh Cabinet. "We will come out of it and intensify agitation," he said. Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao said the TRS and its allies in the UPA would meet after September 30 to discuss various common interests apart from the Telangana issue. "We cannot wait for long. Probably we will wait till the elections in Bihar are over," he said. Expressing confidence in the UPA and its chairperson Sonia Gandhi he said: "We are still hopeful that Telangana would be delivered by the UPG". Seeking to clarify on the Telangana Jagarana Sena, the TRS chief said the basic idea behind the TJS formation was to give a fillip to Telangana supporters and keep the issue alive till the separate State was achieved. "We have a human face and human angle", he added.
Narendra's version
Meanwhile, Mr. Narendra saw "the hand of Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy" behind the cases slapped on him and KCR. Addressing a press conference in Sangareddy on Thursday Narendra said that Jandhyala Ravishankar, council for petitioner Pemmaraju Srinivas has been a legal advisor for the Chief Minister for more than 15 years. He alleged that Dr. Reddy was trying to suppress opposition by undemocratic means. Narendra said that Congress would be wiped out from Telangana after in the municipal elections. Narendra expressed confidence that TRS would get majority in at least eight municipalities.
