Student's gratitude

ONE OF the few women mrudangists, Ranjani Venkatesh is back from Patna where she performed at the invitation of the Sangeet Natak Akademi. One of her shows was with other percussionists and another with a veena vidwan.A keen student of Carnatic music since her childhood, Ranjani, who is modest about her achievements, says she is grateful to her teachers.
