Fake paint factory smashed

NEW DELHI: A factory manufacturing paints in the name of popular brands has been unearthed by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police at Bawana here. Two persons have been arrested. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Tajender Luthra, the Anti-Robbery Cell received a tip-off that some people were running a paint unit and were selling the stuff in the name of popular brands. Subsequently, a police team under the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kumar Gyanesh, raided the place and arrested Vijay Pal and Jai Ram. The police recovered goods worth Rs. 25 lakhs from there.
