ICF in pact with Solidworks

BANGALORE: Solidworks Corporation has announced that railway production unit, Integral Coach Factory (ICF), has chosen Solidworks 3d mechanical design and COSMOS works design analysis software as the preferred software platform for developing coach designs. ICF had taken coach-manufacturing to greater heights by creating innovative designs, providing coaches to withstand faster speed and enhanced comfort, while ensuring reliability, Solidworks CEO, John McEleney, told reporters here. At the first Solidworks India 2005 user meet, which concluded here on Friday, the company unveiled its design validation software, COSMOS 2006.
