PONDICHERRY: The two private medical colleges have started admitting the students under the management quota based on the merit list given by the CENTAC. TheChief Minister, N. Rangasamy, told reporters on Friday that both the colleges had started admitting students. Enquiries made in the colleges revealed that the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science admitted 35 students in the first day. The Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute gave admission to around 12 students. Both the colleges would resume the admissions on Monday.
