CHENNAI: A common platform that enables aspirants to top B-schools in the country to interact with senior faculty members of the MBA institutions will soon be available in Chennai. Career Launcher is conducting Junction MBA at Loyola College on October 1 (Saturday - 10 a.m.). A release from Career launcher says the event has two objectives--to impart knowledge in the form of panel discussions and seminars on various MBA specialisations such as marketing, finance, H.R and operations; and secondly to enable the institutes provide counselling services to aspirants. In the last two years, this initiative has received support from institutes such as MDI, Kirloskar, IMI, ICFAI, MICA and Welingkar, which will provide prominent speakers. The whole activity is a free forum for all students. "Many B-Schools have improved their standards over time. On the student front, there are a lot of questions they have which are not answered by the rankings system. Many students join an MBA programme without being aware of the career options that an MBA course will provide them. Junction MBA, through its parallel tracks of seminars and institute interactions, becomes an excellent alternative for both these stakeholders in management education," it adds. Students can obtain valuable insight into various MBA streams and details on fees, facilities, curriculum, industry interface and placements. Institutions get to showcase their strengths before a large student group. For free participation register now at 2815 4725 / 26 or visit www.careerlauncher.com
