Carmel school plans quiz contest for students

The Parent Teachers Association of the Carmel Higher Secondary school is organising a quiz competition for high school and Plus Two students of schools in the district.

The competition titled `Carmequest' will be held on October 7.

The first round of the competition will be held from 10 a.m. onwards. The final round of the quiz will be held from 1 p.m. onwards.

Any school in the district can send one team of two members. The winners will take home Rs.1,000 in cash, a trophy and certificates. There will be cash prizes of Rs.750 and Rs.500 for the second and third prizes respectively.

The teams should register with the principal of the Carmel school before October 1.
