MADIKERI: An elderly couple have committed suicide at Chikkamandur village in Virajpet taluk of Kodagu district, according to information reaching here on Monday. The names of the dead were given as C. Janaki (68) and C. Bheemaiah (70). Sources said Janaki and her children were involved in an argument over financial matters on Sunday. Following this, Janaki jumped into the tank and died. Then Bheemaiah hanged himself to death.
