Manmohan Singh turns 73

GREETINGS GALORE: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh being greeted by his office staff on his birthday, at South Block in New Delhi on Monday. President A. P.J. Abdul Kalam and Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat were among the leaders who wished him well.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh turned 73 on Monday. President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Governors, Cabinet ministers and Chief Ministers greeted him on the occasion.

On arrival at his office in South Block, Dr. Singh was greeted by his office staff. Representatives of all sections of the Prime Minister's Office staff offered him flowers.
