HYDERABAD: Five teams have confirmed their participation in the Sarojini Naidu State-level women's cricket tournament, the first-ever floodlit event for girls in the country, at the Sports Coaching Foundation grounds here from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, Ms. L. Padmasri, Chairperson, AP Women's Cricket Association, said. Hyderabad, Rayalaseema, APWCA Chairperson's XI, Coastal Andhra and SCF would vie for honours, with Indian captain Mithali Raj leading the APWCA outfit. The other internationals who will be seen in action are Noshin Al Khader and Diana David. The Minister for Tourism, Dr. J. Geetha Reddy, who is also the president of APWCA, will formally inaugurate the event. Sports Reporter
