Not on expected lines: BJP

HYDERABAD: The BJP admitted that the party could not achieve the expected result.

Its president N. Indrasena Reddy alleged the rampant use of money and liquor as well as misuse of administrative machinery helped the ruling party secure an overwhelming majority.

"The TDP is assured of Chairperson posts in only six municipalities. Why did the TDP which waxed eloquent about losing Muslim vote because of its alliance with us fare so badly even after parting ways with us?" he asked.
