KOCHI: The Kerala High Court, on Monday, directed the police to file a statement showing the circumstances and the material relied upon by them to implicate Bineesh and Sajith, proprietors of Himalaya Chit Funds, in the Kanichukulangara murder case. Justice R. Basant issued the directive when a petition filed by them seeking anticipatory bail came up. They said that they were innocent and had been made accused under media pressure. They had nothing to do with the death of three persons in the Kanichukulangara road accident. Besides, no material had been collected by the police to implicate them in the crime. The hearing on the petition has been adjourned to September 28.
