Gaur off to U.K., U.S.

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Babulal Gaur is presently on a six-day visit to Britain and the U.S. to attract foreign investment.

The Chief Minister and his team of top bureaucrats left Delhi for London on Sunday.

One of the important engagements on his London itinerary is a meeting with Lord Swaraj Paul and his Caparo Group.

After the London tour, Mr. Gaur will be arriving in Chicago in the U.S. to attend the `Focus India show' being organised by the Union Ministry for Commerce and Industry and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on September 27 and 28.

According to an official spokesman here, the delegation will also hold discussions with non-resident Indians and American businessmen in Chicago and invite them to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He is also scheduled to visit New York City in the last leg of his tour to discuss investment opportunities with entrepreneurs.
