Bus passes for physically challenged

Candidates should submit medical certificates issued by the Medical Boards between 25th and 28th of every month

HYDERABAD: The APSRTC city region will issue passes to physically challenged at its bus pass centres in Koti and Rathifile (Secunderabad).

Candidates have to submit the medical certificates issued by the Medical Boards of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Ranga Reddy districts between 25th and 28th of every month to travel free in city and sub-urban areas.

A statement said that following is the criteria for obtaining the passes - Mentally retarded persons (40 per cent and below), visually handicapped (100 per cent loss of sight in two eyes), deaf and dumb (whose hearing and speaking function is fully not functional - 100 per cent) and orthopaedically handicapped (40 per cent and above disability).
