Expo on higher education in US

The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) will organise a presentation and exhibition on `higher education in the United States' at the School of Planning and Architecture, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Masab Tank, here on September 29.

A representative from USEFI will be present to share information, according to a press release.

Paintings exhibition

The Salar Jung Museum is organising a special exhibition on Indian miniature paintings on the occasion of International Tourism Day on Tuesday.

The Joint Director of Museum, A.N. Reddy, will inaugurate the exhibition at 11 a.m. Except holidays, it will be on till October 6, according to a release.

Eamcet counselling

All the seats earmarked for Osmania University under open category for boys and girls in Bi.P.C stream have been filled.

Candidates attending counselling on Tuesday may note this before attending counselling, according to the Eamcet-2005 convenor.

Hotel's gifts to foreigners

As part of the World Tourism Day celebrations, hotel Green Park, the business class hotel, will extend a traditional welcome along with token gifts and surprises to all foreigners arriving at the hotel on September 27.

Air Force contests

An inter unit cross country championship was organised by the Air Force Station Hakimpet here recently with the objective of instilling team spirit and comradeship among its personnel and to select the best from them for the inter area/national contests.

The cross country event was flagged off by the Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Hakimpet, Air Commodore P.B. Patel. Around 1,500 personnel were divided into four teams and asked to cover 4.3 km in a stipulated time.
