Power shutdown tomorrow

Power supply will be affected between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday in C.C. Road, Ramakrishnappa Road, Kathalipalya, PSK Naidu Road, Kallahalli Crematorium, Cox Town and surrounding areas, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company.

Senior citizens' walk on October 2

The senior citizens' club is organising a walk to commemorate World Elders Day on October 2. The walk will be flagged off by Police Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh from St. Andrews Church at 9.30 a.m. For details, dial 25488612.

Passports in respect of applications up to the following serial numbers received in passport office, have been despatched during the week ending September 23 where the documents were in order: A024654/05 (July 22), B002717/05 (August 31), C007618/05 (July 21), E020823/05 (August 16), G002246/05 (July 14), M010873/05 (July 18), N003457/05 (August 2), according to the regional passport officer.

Screening for hearing
