Timely advice

Atal Bihari Vajpayee's observation that ideology should not come in the way of the `process of thought' (Sept. 26) is relevant not merely to the RSS and the BJP but a timely sermon to all political parties. The process of thought unfortunately is not taking place. What is funny is the fact that the "core ideology groups" in different parties are those who negotiate and work the poll alliances without bothering much about what they profess before or after the elections.
