MANGALORE: There is a need to have a composite package for tourism in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, MP, said here on Tuesday. Mr. Sadananda Gowda was addressing a gathering at a function organised to observe World Tourism Day by the Department of Business Administration, Mangalore University. The MP said that providing infrastructure is a pre-requisite for the growth of tourism. Tourists will hesitate to visit places that lack basic facilities. Tourism offers enough jobs and contributes to the growth of the region.
