PONDICHERRY: The organiser of the Pondicherry State unit of all India Agricultural Labourers Association, G.A. Jagannathan, has urged the Government to distribute house site pattas to the poor farm labourers living in Arasankulam and Pillayarkuppam villages in the neighbourhood of Karikalambakkam block near here. He said here on Wednesday that the poor families in these two villages were already distributed family ration cards.. But they remained homeless for want of their own pattas. Mr.Jagannathan also pleaded that apart from providing the sites the Department of Survey and Land Records here should also make available the subsidy now given to the poor families to construct concrete structures under the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Housing scheme.
