Additional coaches to clear holiday rush

BANGALORE: The South Eastern Railway and the South Central Railway will provide additional coaches to the following trains to clear the rush during the holiday season, according to a press release from the South Western Railway.

8003/8004 Howrah-Yeshwantpur- Howrah Express will be augmented with one three-tier air-conditioned coach and one three-tier second-class sleeper coach.

From Howrah, the additional coaches will be provided from October 1 to November 30.Coaches will be added from Yeshwantpur from October 3 to December 2.

8613/8614 Hatia-Yeshwantpur-Hatia Express will be augmented with one three-tier second-class sleeper coach. The additional coaches will be provided from Hatia from October 4 to November 29. From Yeshwantpur, coaches will be added from October 7 to December 2.

7603/7604 Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda Express will be augmented with one three-tier second-class sleeper coach. The additional coaches will be provided from Kacheguda from October 1 to October 15 and from October 28 to November 6. Coaches will be added from Yeshwantpur from October 2 to October 16 and from October 29 to November 7.

8415/8416 Bhubaneswar-Yeshwantpur-Bhubaneswar Express will be augmented with one three-tier air-conditioned coach and one three-tier second-class sleeper coach. The additional coaches will be provided from September 30 to November 6.

7603/7604 Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda Express will continue to have a halt at Gauribidanur till March 31, 2006.
