Unscheduled load shedding

BANGALORE: Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced "unscheduled load shedding" between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. in several parts of the city and suburbs from September 30 to October 2.

The city the areas affected include Goripalya, Swatantrapalya, Timber Yard Layout, Guddadahalli, Chamarajpet, Nagarbhavi, Vital Nagar, Shankarapuram, Mysore Road from Sirsi Circle to Rajarajeshwari Nagar entrance, Jnanabharati Campus, Bytarayanapura, Azad Nagar, Hanumanthanagar, Girinagar, Srinivasapura, Thyagarajanagar, Bull Temple Road, Kempe Gowda Nagar, Vidyapeeta, parts of Chamarajpet. In the suburbs, Kadugodi, Whitefield Industrial Area, Varthur, Ramagondanahali, Kachmarana Halli, ITI Colony, Ramamurthy Nagar, Vignanapura, KR Puram, Chikka Devasandra, Kodigehalli and B. Narayanpura.

There will be power shutdown from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following areas: Shanthi Layout, Kowdenahalli, part of R.M. Nagar, Zinkethimanahalli, Ayodhyanagar, and Maragondanahalli.
